Founded and Run by People Who Have Built Things Before

HeyStay was founded by Nadir and Maliha Khan, a Tulsa-based husband and wife team who brought an unusual depth of experience to furnished housing.

Nadir Khan graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a degree in Economics — Phi Beta Kappa, with honors. He began his career on Wall Street in 2003, joining SAC Capital (now Point72) and its CR Intrinsic fundamental research division. In 2006, at 25 years old, he co-founded and served as CEO of Timescape Global Capital Management, a hedge fund that grew to $300 million in assets under management with a team of over 75 professionals and offices in New York, Las Vegas, and Karachi. He was among a handful of fund managers globally who traded profitably through the 2008 financial crisis — a period that ended most funds and reshaped the industry. Nadir’s work was covered by New York Times DealBook.

After the fund, Nadir founded and served as CEO of Qineqt Inc. — and as its original anchor investor prior to its Series A — a New York-based institutional financial data platform that attracted senior talent from Goldman Sachs, Citi, and Bloomberg — building machine learning and data automation infrastructure for the world’s leading asset managers years before AI-driven data became mainstream. Qineqt’s media group, Bidness Etc, grew to over 300 employees with offices across the United States and Pakistan, reaching more than 3 million users through distribution on Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, and Forbes. Nadir’s work during this period was covered by the Wall Street Journal and Institutional Investor.

Maliha Khan serves as HeyStay’s head of operations. Prior to HeyStay, she served as Head of HR at Qineqt Inc., overseeing people operations, systems, and culture across a 300-person international organization spanning four offices on two continents. She brings that same precision and operational discipline to HeyStay — managing properties, placements, vendor relationships, and guest experience across over 20 homes simultaneously. The consistency and professionalism that corporate clients and insurance carriers experience at HeyStay is a direct reflection of the standards she holds the business to every day.

Together they built HeyStay from a single property into Tulsa’s largest independent furnished housing operation. HeyStay was the only Tulsa operator selected to participate in a major short term rental platform’s inaugural host conference in 2025 — an invitation extended to a small number of top-performing operators nationwide.
